Upward Basketball & Cheerleading
A community league for kids from kindergarten-6th grade. Everyone is welcome! Games are played at Indian Lane Elementary School.
Our Unique Approach
Equal playing time for each player
Balanced teams and less emphasis on winning
The league does not keep score for the younger ages
The coaches and fans don’t yell at the referees or players
The coaches teach basketball or cheerleading skills but also life virtues like honesty, kindness, or respect

Just GRIT
Pickup basketball, pizza & more every Friday at Indian Lane for ages 12-16.
About Us
Don’t sit at home bored and glued to your phone on a Friday night, come out to Just Grit and play ball with friends, and talk about real life stuff. Some Fridays we will play basketball at Indian Lane, some Friday nights we may go out and grab some ice cream or go bowling. Whatever we do, we want this group to be a welcoming, judgement-free zone.

Community Helpline
Request practical assistance for yourself, a loved one, or a neighbor.
Our Vision
As a church, we aim to connect to the larger Middletown community and locate the gaps. Who needs a helping hand? In our increasingly fragmented world, many are left without a support system. We pool our resources to help meet those needs. This helpline is aimed to be a direct line of communication between the church & the surrounding community. It is an effort to make it easier for our neighbors to request support for themselves or for others.
How We Can Help
Some examples of things we may be able to assist with:
Meals for those who aren't able to cook for themselves
Addition to our prayer chain
Transportation support for those unable to drive
Connection to parent groups for childcare support
If we aren't able to help directly, we will share your request anonymously with our network of volunteers.
